The centre square in the main area for shops and cafès with the harbour front having a great traditional Greek atmosphere about it Lixouri is a fairly flat area with verdant hillsides, unique pine trees and age-old olive groves. The countryside gives the feel of being all on your own island. Very popular with locals and tourist's alike, but has the feel of being untouched by tourism.
